How We Engage | Fractional CTO Services for Real Estate | Time Freedom CTO

We work inside your team,
not above it.

Our role is to embed with your leadership and drive decisions to execution, not hand you a document and walk out.

What an engagement looks like

01

Start with the business problem.

The first conversation is about what is not working and what it is costing you. Come with a specific business metric: an NOI that should be higher, a vacancy rate that has moved the wrong direction, or a reporting process that takes far longer than it should. The more specific the number, the faster we move.

02

Figure out what is actually causing it.

This is a focused look at your current software, the data flows, the vendor relationships, and the team structure. It moves fast because the goal is clarity. You get a clear diagnosis and a prioritized set of things to fix. Not a 60-page deck.

03

Work alongside your team to fix it.

We stay embedded through execution. That means working with your existing team, not around them. Being in the room when the vendor conversation happens. Making sure the fix actually lands, not just that it was recommended.

Duration and scope

Most engagements run three to six months. Some extend further depending on what we find. Scoped, not open-ended retainers.

At the end, you have a technology function with clear ownership, a roadmap tied to business performance, and fewer fires for leadership to manage.

Who this is actually for

Property management companies with 1,000 or more units. COOs, CEOs, asset managers, and ownership groups. You have more than three core systems running independently and something in the numbers is off. You can feel it but you haven't been able to identify the source.

The reporting doesn't feel right. Decisions are getting made on data that doesn't match across systems. AI was deployed but nobody is confident in what it's actually doing or who owns it when something goes wrong.

Sometimes the fix is in what already exists. Sometimes it requires building something new. We follow the problem, not a predetermined scope.

The best first step is a 30-minute call.
